I AM WOMAN

I am woman, Woman enough to understand
that I don't need a man to validate who I am.
I am woman enough to be by myself, with myself
and do for myself.
Woman enough to be headstrong, I am independent
enough to be on my own and buy my own rings.

As you can see, I really don't need a man.
"I can do the damn thing".
I am Woman.

I am Woman, Woman enough to tell you exactly
how I feel.
No beating around the bush, no compromising.
Believe me I will keep it real.
I am Woman.   

Now don't get me wrong everybody needs somebody
at least that's what I was told.

But I am woman enough not to put up with the lies
games and the cheating all that stuff gets old. 

I am Woman.

I am Woman, Woman enough to raise my kids
all by myself.
When the timing is right I'll be the one who is
sought I have GOD I don't need nobody else because
I AM WOMAN!!!!!!!
