New Man Magazine

New Man is about spiritual transformation. The magazine is aimed at "men on a mission" (not a specific demographic, but a TYPE of man). These are men who are passionate about God and want more of Him in their lives. Men who crave adventure, take risks and pursue truth. Men who realize that an adventure with the Creator doesn’t begin and end on Sunday morning, but everywhere, everyday!

Each issue, we profile "men on a mission"- church leaders, professional athletes, businessmen and entertainers- completed by Christ, these men are transforming their lives, their families and their worlds. Plus, we offer biblical perspectives from today's Christian leaders, and tons of candid and practical, not predictable, advice about marriage, parenting, work, health and fitness, sex, God and faith.

AskMen.com

For the serious but casual writer. AskMen.com's average reader is a male professional between the ages of 18 and 45, with an advanced education. It is therefore important that you know how to write about issues that pertain to men and their lifestyle, in a relaxed and pragmatic approach.

Only candidates with skills suited to our current needs will be contacted. All other submissions will be kept on file for a period of three months, with no further obligation on AskMen.com's part.

ColorLines

A quarterly devoted to analyzing issues of race and racism, especially as they impact upon politics, culture, and organizing. We are interested in essays, investigative reports, think pieces, opinion pieces, and cultural criticism, and occasionally humor pieces. Since articles are written 4-6 months before publication, we avoid trying to cover immediate events, as such pieces are almost certain to be out of date by the time they appear.

ColorLines editors often solicit articles on specific topics, but also encourage activists, writers, and artists to independently submit proposals, manuscripts, photography and art work for consideration. Authors should submit proposals, queries, and articles well in advance of any projected publication date. The editorial deadline for copy is February 1, and every three months thereafter (e.g. May 1, August 1, November 1).

MultiCultural Review

A quarterly trade journal and book review for educators and librarians at all levels. In addition to regular columns, announcements, and news, MultiCultural Review contains five or six feature articles in each issue. These feature articles may be one of the following types: 1) discussions of current issues related to multiculturalism in the United States; 2) bibliographic essays or bibliographies on current issues related to multiculturalism; 3) ethnographic articles on specific groups; 4) bibliographic articles on specific groups, highlighting children's and/or adult books; 5) articles on non-profit resources (audio, video, software, online sources) that present diverse cultures; and 6) practical articles on multicultural pedagogy or librarianship. Article queries, with proposal, contents, and writing samples, are strongly encouraged. All inquiries regarding writing assignments (features and reviews) should include a résumé and writing samples.

Pockets

Designed for 6- to 12-year-olds, Pockets magazine offers wholesome devotional readings that teach about God's love and presence in life. Each page of Pockets affirms a child's self-worth. Included are fun and exciting puzzles, games, stories, poems, recipes, colorful pictures, and scripture readings. The magazine is published monthly (except in February) and includes a wide variety of materials
