Goodbye, Sweet Love

Goodbye, sweet love, you came into my life by my calling. I was seeking for that someone to fill the lonely hours…I opened my heart to love you stepped in. I didn’t put any provisions upon feeling. I was open to all possibilities. A pure heart wishing to love, free as the wind, sailing upon currents, arriving at a place where…chance encounter with another. We meet upon a cloud, two hearts one love. The sun looms over the horizon, birthing a new day.  In our hearts a novel love, unmarked and pure. Out in front, an endless blue, so is our love, vast as the morning sky.  All day we lay upon clouds staring into one another’s eyes, caressing, kissing, voicing, I love you.  Life so exquisite, splendor found in the arms of a lover, one who touches lightly and all time stops. It feels so right…nothing is as it seems.  It’s time for me to leave.  Ours, a brief love affair, sad goodbyes, fingers touch end on end until… the last contact is shattered. Off you go into the cosmos from hence you came. Gone are those moments of shared joy. Alone once more searching for something to fill my lonely heart…
